The incident occurred as the aircraft was being maneuvered on the runway and ended up crashing into a ditch.
Fortunately, there were no injuries in the accident. In a video posted on his Instagram Stories, the singer explained the situation and confirmed that he was not present on the plane at the time of the incident.
According to Huff, the aircraft was undergoing preventive maintenance and was being transferred to the workshop hangar when the incident occurred. “Just coming to reassure everyone about the airplane episode. I’m here in the United States doing a show, on tour, so I wasn’t on the plane, and there was no one from my team inside the plane either,” clarified the singer.
Murilo Huff detailed that the plane was moving from one hangar to another for routine maintenance, a common practice to ensure safety. “It so happened that it ended up falling into a ditch, on the ground itself, it wasn’t going to fly. I just found out now too, I was sleeping, I just woke up. But just coming to reassure you. Everything is fine, everything is alright, thank God,” recounted the sertanejo.
Prior to Huff’s statement, the artist’s team had already issued a statement on the singer’s Instagram Stories to inform about the accident.
